Just in time for NY fashion week, Fashion Week Daily has announced that Gucci has partnered with Mary J. Blige to create a limited-edition time-piece for MJB’s charity, Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN). Fashion Week Daily: “Gucci creative director Frida Giannini has designed a limited-edition black PVD twirl watch. With a face framed in black diamonds, the bracelet-cum-timepiece features a commemorative FFAWN engraving on the back of its rotating case. The watch is set to make its sparkling debut at Gucci’s Fifth Avenue flagship on September 16, and will be available to the public at Gucci boutiques and select department stores nationwide the following day. Priced at $1,895, customers can make the moderate investment guilt-free, as the philanthropic fashion house will donate a portion of the proceeds to Blige’s charity.”
