I am pretty sure you know what is going in Haiti right now. If not, well there was an earthquake and several aftershocks that have been hitting and testing Haiti's strength. So as support, on Jan. 14, Mr. Cee along with Brooklyn's own DJ Stakz played one full hour of Kompa and Zouk music. Mind you, this has never been done, like ever. For any of you who did get a chance to hear, it was truly an amazing and uplifting experience for Haitians all over the world (like me). Hopefully, the world can now listen and appreciate our beautiful music and hopefully Hot 97 will do this more often and not only play Haitian music but music from all over the world from the Middle East to Europe to Asia.
